I think in design. I build for outcomes.

For years, I've struggled to define exactly what I do. Not because I don't know what I'm good at, but because I've spent so much time doing things that don't fit neatly into one job title.
I started in engineering, studying Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Human-Computer Interaction. I wrote code, found my way into graphic design, and eventually became a product designer.
But I didn't stop there.
Alongside my career in product design, I've built businesses, taught people, sold products, managed customers, written code, and figured out how to get people to actually use the things I build. Somewhere along the way, I picked up skills in sales, marketing, growth, product management, and customer success.
For a long time, I felt I had to keep these experiences separate. I was a product designer at work and everything else outside of it.
Then I realised something: these experiences weren't distractions from design. They were what made me a better designer.
Having worked across different functions, I understand how people think, what they care about, and the challenges they face. I can speak the language of engineers, marketers, salespeople, and business owners because I've done parts of their jobs myself. And that makes it easier to collaborate, challenge assumptions, and build products that actually work.
AI has made all of this even more interesting. It's helping me bring these previously disconnected skills together, moving from ideas to design, code, experimentation, and execution in ways I couldn't before.
Today, I'm a Senior Product Designer working at the intersection of design, business, AI, and growth. I design AI-powered products and solutions, and build growth systems that help businesses attract, convert, and retain customers.
I still see myself as a designer, but increasingly, I think of myself as a product builder who designs with AI and thinks about growth.
Because at the end of the day, beautiful interfaces are great, but great customer experiences and measurable business outcomes are what I really care about.
That's always been my North Star.
Experience, year by year.
